Cap City Tavern is located in a beautiful brick structure that was built in 1892. The building has served a wide variety of purposes including a fire station, a police station, a drunk tank, and legal offices. Cap City Tavern was purchased and revamped to its current state by Sam Armatas and Dino McTaggart in March 2008. Sam and Dino are simply two down-to-earth guys with a passion for serving up great food, fun and libations to their valued customers — just like you! We hope you’ll agree that Sam, Dino, and their staff have created a true neighborhood tavern — friendly and welcoming to any and all who live, work, and play in the area.
